About Me
I started as a board op running football games, worked my way through the ranks of programming to a relatively successful morning show and programming stations for 15 years. Then made the switch to the other side of the business (sales). I because a sales manager and was brought to Door County and was convinced that ownership was the next step in the evolution. I love every minute of this industry and I am always trying to push the limits of expansion into the future.
My Market
Door County is a beautiful market and very bipolar. The winter can be a little slow as that's when we are a beautiful small market that focuses on our local listeners and High school Sports. Then the "Season" hits. Door County grows from 30,000 people to 500,000! And on top of that we have over 2 million additional tourists from everywhere. It's a great place to visit, work, play and live! That influx of people provides a huge opportunity for revenue in a 6-8 month period, not just for us but the entire county. Door County is a real destination.
