* Grandfather purchased KINS in 1958, making me a 3rd Generation broadcaster / owner
* Lifelong resident of Eureka
* Married to Angie in 1983 - and have two kids who work with us (Winston and Stephen)
* Not a college graduate (missing one PE class and English 1)
* Attended Humboldt State University (Arcata, CA) and Doane College (Crete, NE)
* Hobbies: Baking, Gardening, Puzzles & Baseball card collecting
* Grandfather (Wendell Adams) wrote the Winston jingle, among others
My Market
Eureka, California (Humboldt County is the Humboldt Dungeness Crab capital of the world (we also have the most prolific bay shrimp producing area on the west coast.) ... Millions of acres (literally) of redwood trees .... Rivers, lakes, lagoons and one big ocean. … We are where the rest of California is moving to if they are staying in the state! ... Mean temperature is 58 degrees.
