About Me
I've been in radio since I was 12. 30 years in the business now, and almost 20 as a station owner. I am a 3rd generation broadcaster. I founded our company and run it with my wife Irene who handles sales while I handle on-air/programming/engineering. I previously worked for Entercom. Was brought in by Joe Reilly as an intern in 1999, then hired part-time. When he bought a station in 2001 he recommended me for his position and they hired me to program an oldies station at the age of 20. I spent 6 years with them in total, and then spent a year and a half with Nexstar as the Assignment Manager for WROC-TV (CBS) and WUHF-TV (Fox) in Rochester , NY. After that, I became a station owner at WEBO near Binghamton, NY in 2006. In 2009 we got our first translator, followed by 2 more in 2014, and 1 in 2018. When COVID hit in 2020, the other independent station owners in our area began retiring and we finally started growing.
