I have been working in Radio for 22 years. I was working in banking before my career in radio, but my love for radio started when I was just a young girl. I would listen to the radio for not only enjoyment, but also for comfort. I heard an ad on the local radio station advertising for a job in their sales department. “Make money based on your work ethic” So, I just knew that position was for me. I applied and was interviewed three times and each time I was told the I was not sales person material. I didn’t give up. I applied a fourth time and was hired.
