About Me
I have worked in radio since I graduated from college in 2006. I had a brief stint at iHeartMedia and was glad to get back into local radio. I manage two radio stations serving Oconee County, South Carolina (Classic Hits, 94.1 The Lake and Country, 101.7 WGOG).
My Market
Oconee County, South Carolina is blessed with beautiful natural resources including three major lakes, more waterfalls than anywhere else in the southeast and plenty of hiking trails. This area has become the retirement hub for the upstate of South Carolina due to low taxes, good healthcare and plenty of outdoor activities. Oconee County is home to around 80,000 residents.
My Stations
94.1 The Lake is based out of Seneca, SC is very focused on our local community with a full time news director, live and local morning show and we also carry Seneca High School Football and Basketball games. Our station host three community events (Senior Living Expo in May, Job Fair in August, and the Home, Health and Life Expo in October).
Much like The Lake, WGOG (based out of Walhalla, SC) has a full time news director, live and local morning show and carries Walhalla Razorback Football. This station has been around since 1959 and continues to keep our listeners informed with information they need including traffic, weather and news reports throughout the day.
