It is my hope to exchange each day to use my time and talents to help others use THEIR time and talents. I have three sons and three beautiful “Daughter-in-Loves”. My wife and I have been married 43 years. She is a great State Farm Agent and I serve as President and CEO of Kaspar Media, home of Shine 99 Radio, Clinton County Daily News, WILO AM/FM, Boone County Daily News and Hoosierland TV.

Most rewarded by: Transformational Positive Change in Community, Businesses, People’s lives. I have found that Faith in Christ is crucial for this change in many lives, including mine.
Kaspar Media and several other excellent Idea Bank broadcasters hosted the 2014 Fall Idea Bank convention at French Lick, Indiana. We have also hosted a Senior Fair for about 30 years, Woman's Fair for 26 years plus Community Children's Christmas Parties, Home and Garden Shows, Astronomical Star Parties at Prairie Grass Observatory and other events.
Rotarian (three time board member), Member of International Broadcasters Idea Bank, First Church of the Nazarene, Wabash Valley Astronomical Society, Board member Flora Airport (5I2), Husband (43 years), Grandfather, President PIP Board, Clinton County Chamber of Commerce Board, member Boone County Chamber of Commerce, Howard County Chamber of Commerce, Co-Founder and Director of Camp Cullom’s Prairie Grass Astronomical Observatory, Play Drums for Praise Team about once a month at Church, Former Boy Scout Master for 14 years, Father of Three Eagle Scouts, Former District Chair for Sugar Creek Boy Scout District.
My wife and I met selling books for the Southwestern Company in Nashville, Tennessee. We each sold 4 summers and recruited and trained one the the top 30 performing sales teams in the entire company in the summer of 1977. We are also “graduates” of the Dave Ramsey “EntreLeadership” program delivered by Ramsey Solutions. I worked with my Father, Vern Kaspar, in this business for 41 years. Vern Kaspar was inducted into the Indiana Broadcasters Hall of Fame and was licensed by the FCC either as an amateur radio operator (starting at age 13) or Station owner for 83 years...probably one of the longest time anyone was constantly licensed by the FCC. Our first Idea Bank Convention was in Woodstock, Vermont.
Degree in Biology Indiana University. Attended extended Broadcasting NAB courses at Harvard, Wharton and Notre Dame. Realtor graduate and owner of Rental Properties. Visited all 50 states and 31 Countries. Studied French at Sorbonne in Paris summer 1973. 17 hours Russian, Indiana University.
My Market
Kaspar Media serves an 18 county area in North-Central Indiana. We serve Frankfort, Kokomo, Greater Lafayette, Lebanon, Logansport, Monticello, Tipton, Peru, Crawfordsville and 232 other cities, towns and bergs in North-Central Indiana. :>) (But who's counting!)
Our area includes Purdue University, Delphi/Delco Electronics, Tyson Foods, Frito Lay (largest plant in the world with 1800 employees), Subaru assembly plant and several other industrial facilities.
We do have some of the richest black farmland in the world with a pretty dependable rainfall and underground water supply. Our market area is home to several Seed Corn companies including Beck's Hybrids home office and plant.
My Stations
Shine 99: WSHW is Hot AC with our own music mix on G-Selector and AudioVault. We have live and locally voice-tracked shifts. Our positioning statement is "Today's Best Music" and our "phrase the pays" is: "Shine 99 is my number one for music and fun".
WILO Community Radio: WILO AM 1570 and WILO FM 96.9. We are the home of our daily local live talk show "Partyline" which can also be viewed LIVE at www.hoosierlandtv.com. We do 52 ball games annually, cover 3 county fairs, State 4-H and State FFA events, Hoosier Ag Today, Brownfield Ag, Dave Ramsey and Agri-Talk affiliate.
