Nominate a New Member

Know a good broadcaster who should join us? Nominate them for membership. Be sure to explain what is expected of a member along with all the benefits.

A current member nominates a prospective member and at least one other member endorses that membership.

The prospective member’s name and brief resume including stations and locations, ownership, and ownership or representation of companies doing business with broadcast stations.  (that could present conflicts of interest for current members. )

The name and application will be circulated amongst the members before being added to the waiting list.

Current members should offer the business conflict objection to the prospective member promptly, ideally before thy are added to the waiting list.

When a member offers a veto to the board for an applicant, the member will offer the legitimate business conflict to the board.

The By Laws provide direction on overriding veto.
